elephants

Did you know that elephants can SMELL danger? Scientists recently discovered that if you get close to an elephant, it can tell if you want to harm it or not. I don't know how they tested that, because if they let somebody close to an elephant that DID want to hurt them, the elephant could be in danger. Anyway, I think it's neat - it seems like elephants have super psycho powers.

Did you know that a elephant can speak human language but japanese? No? Well now you do! Elephants are INCREDIBLY smart. Some Elephants are able to paint with brushes. Elephants are some of the smartest mammals ever.

Elephants are smart, kind, cute...just like you!
Do you have super-powers like elephants do? I bet you can sense when your mom or dad are crabby or not!

Ok so whatever the scientific data says about elephants pales in comparison to how smart buffalo are... or were I guess, since they are all extinct. I have read all kinds of things about the mighty buffalo's legendary minds. Sure they didn't learn fancy languages and paint with brushes but they were so smart that they tricked most of the scientific community into thinking they were tiny brained animals that where only good at standing in fields, eating grass, and occasionally pooping. But the truth is this - the bison was America's greatest asset. these sultans of smarts invented velcro, magic shell (the ice cream topping), and boomerangs. Although Ronald Reagan is credited with defeating communism, it is rumored that the real hero is the bison. Early on the bison realized that they would never truly be taken seriously because they have giant heads so they used there comical appearance to blend in with common farm animals, all the while plotting the course of human existence as we know it.

Although no solid proof of the truth has yet to surface, many people believe that this image of Nixon in the oval office is just part of the cover up. (link below)

Taken in 1971, this picture was accidentally released to the public when white house clerks thought it to be the work of some prankster. When in truth it is most likely one of America's greatest heros getting the praise they so rightly deserve.... so go ahead and have your boastful elephant, always showing off with his fancy languages and painting, and giant ears, and love of peanuts and not forgetting - but I love the USA, apple pie, and bison.
