Did you know that elephants can SMELL danger? Scientists recently discovered that if you get close to an elephant, it can tell if you want to harm it or not. I don't know how they tested that, because if they let somebody close to an elephant that DID want to hurt them, the elephant could be in danger. Anyway, I think it's neat - it seems like elephants have super psycho powers.

Did you know that a elephant can speak human language but japanese? No? Well now you do! Elephants are INCREDIBLY smart. Some Elephants are able to paint with brushes. Elephants are some of the smartest mammals ever.

otters holding hands

One of these otters was saved from the Exxon oil spill. Now they live in a zoo in Canada - and you can watch them holding hands. These type of sea otters are endangered. I thought you would like this video.

non-disectable frog

Scientists in Japan have found a way to create a see-through frog. They created this amphibian by breeding a Japanese brown frog for a recessive gene. They created this frog so that people did not have to disect frogs to learn about them. HOOORAAAAAYYY!

If two of the see-through frogs breed, they will have see-through babies, BUT if those babies have babies, their babies will die in a couple of hours. The scientists don't know why that happend yet, but MY theory is they are too pale, or that maybe they are passing on another gene in addition to the paleness gene. Here is a cool picture of one - you can see it's eggs. I will try to put a video on here later.
