the spider I saw

This is a banded garden spider. My friends and I saw one just like it at ECHO today. It was huge - like two inches. I think it was looking for a place to lay it's eggs. It was not moving very fast and seemed very tired. We had a fun time at the park, but the best part was finding that spider.

Jesus Christ Lizard

Most of you were wrong - but a few of you were right, It's the Jesus Christ Lizard! It is also called a plumed basilisk. Here's a video so you can see how it walks on water.

A couple days ago I taught an ADULT. It was fun teaching Treats about animals and amphibians & felines, pachyderms, primates and ..... oh yeah - we were also wondering - does any one know why uncle-cares-a-lot calls himself that?

Hi. You guys know my name but I don't know yours. My counter says that I have 317 visitors - but I don't know who they are.

I hope your names are:
Robin Williams, Ben Stiller, Bindi the Jungle Girl and Neil Armstrong - or somebody cool like that.

But even that's not your name, you should leave me a comment and tell me who you are so we can be friends.
